Welcome Pastor Bryan Wardroup

Bishop Earl Bledsoe and Rev. Eddie Rivera of The United Methodist Church, New Mexico Conference, announced the appointment of Pastor Bryan Wardroup to First United Methodist Church of Fort Davis.

Pastor  Wardroup previously served as  interim pastor at First UMC in Morton, Texas.  As a 2006 Honors graduate of Texas Tech, Pastor Wardroup taught History and Government and coached baseball/basketball/football for 6 years in Floydada, Kirtland NM, and Ranger.  He is active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization. Pastor Wardroup grew up in Lubbock and attended St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Pastor Wardroup is married to Jordan,  a 2008 graduate of Frenship High School in Wolfforth, Texas.  She plans to continue her education path by enrolling at Sul Ross University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing.  The Wardroups are proud ” fur-parents” of Studd, 8 years-old, 85 pound mix, Dexter, 9 years-old mini dachshund, and Rusty, a 10 year-old terrier.
